We stayed at the Excellence Riveria Maya in 2009. We had a swim up room in the Excellence Club and it was amazing. Wonderful Resort!
My wife and I stayed at the excellence riviera maya in late August early September of this year. Wow is all I can say. This place is great! It was like heaven on earth. The staff treat you like royalty and every aspect of our stay was truly grand. My words cannot truly capture the experience. Thank you Ruiz, Del Fina, and my friend JJ who im keeping in contact with.

Insider tips from our experience: coldest beer found at the Sports Bar (so cold it had ice), participate in the activities (pool volleyball, water aerobics, bike tour, dance lessons, etc.) it enhances your trip, if beach chairs are full – check the beach on the other side of the club excellence beach, and bring lots and lots of sunscreen along with a supply of aloe, tylenol, pepto, etc. (a little pricey in the gift shop).

Both are beautiful – I liked this one, I was able to make him ”dance” by telling him he was a ”such a good boy”. Had him on my arm for a few minutes, don’t get that opportunity too often!

Regardless of whether it was our honeymoon or not, that was absolutely the best vacation I have ever had! I was just curious if one of the others was viewed as a step above the others. We’re thinking of doing a shorter version at the end of the year. And, by the way, before you even messaged me, I’ve checked out the reviews from Flip Flop Man. So, thank you for responding yourself. I mentioned you last night to my wife how you’ve been (seems to be) every resort there is, and you rave about Excellence and EPM.
