We had a great vacation at EPC the first week in Dec. The resort was great even though it rained one day. The beach is not fit for swimming, but we were able to beach walk almost 3km South to the Dreams resort. Found out that if you follow the path at the back of the cove just after passing a horse ride vendor, you can go to a local shopping center. We really enjoyed the pools. If you are among the 200 Million iOS device users, we found that the Safari Mobile browser is blocked. Firefox and IE on our laptop did work fine. Glad we brought it and did not rely on the iPAD. Our room was super and the staff were outstanding even when Olympus Tours messed up our airport return transportation. We do December vacations and not very many location can deliver the 85/75 degree weather, but EPC did. Looking at Cancun for our next trip. Don’t forget that the locals in DR are expecting for you to haggle over prices.   updated 1 year ago
