My husband and I got married here in April and it was the most beautiful wedding I could have imagined. We brought 35 guests who stayed for 5 days or more each and everyone was thrilled with the resort and the overall experience. HOWEVER... today 7/5/12, there was a fraudulent charge on my debit card. I called my bank and they said it was a foreign transaction that took place in Punta Cana. That is the only time I ever ever been to the DR in my life and the only people I used my debit card with during our stay were people affiliated with Excellence Resort. We never shopped at any stores off the resort. Excellence should re-evaluate the trustworthiness of the vendors they allow to solicit guests in their lobby and run their weddings. With the amount of rooms booked specifically for my wedding, I think it is pretty safe to assume that Excellence PC profited handsomely from my group and this chain of events certainly leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
