Where do I start? We booked are vacation on Orbitz and got a great deal. We flew on Spirit which changed are flight dates without really telling us, I only found out from looking at my itinerary on my email. I called them and they said they were allowed to change it. So we had to move the dates of are vacation. Spirit Airlines was the best direct flight, but they charged for everything and only let you have a 40lb bag or they charge you. We arrived in Punta Cana and the airport there was great, very smooth. We used Dominican Airport Transfer to get to the Resort, they were holding a sign, we got to the resort on time and they picked us up to go back on time, would highly recommend. The Resort check in was easy. Rooms were clean, although they did have a musty smell. We asked some of the excellence club guest’s and they said their rooms didn’t have a musty smell. There were mosquitoes at night so bring some spray. The pools were very clean and well maintained. The pool bar was very popular. The food was very good. I don’t think there was a restaurant we didn’t visit. The bar staff was great and we highly recommend the Coco Loco which is their coconut drink. We went with two other couples and this was the best vacation we ever had. Also we did the buggy tour in which they took you to a cave and around the towns, was very fun, don’t wear nice cloths and ask for the bandanas. We are planning another trip for next year for when they open Oyster Bay in Jamaica. My wife and I had also been to the Playa Mujeres Resort in Cancun which is why I recommended to the group that we stay at the Excellence Resorts and they were not disappointed.
