Our first visit to Excellence Riviera Cancun was excelente! We will return asap! This visit was for our 25th wedding anniversary and our stay in the Excellence Club. Everything exceeded our expectations and we hope to return again and again. The resort was beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, the staff was gracious, helpful, and friendly. Food was delicious and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed the top-shelf drinks. Excellence Club is well worth the upgrade and we appreciated all the perks and VIP treatment. Excellence Club Concierge Dari was especially helpful and made our 25th anniversary very special from start to finish. Excellence Club Beach Concierge was helpful in locating beach seating, and Miguel's drink service on the beach was great! While we visited most of the restaurants, we returned daily to Barcelona for breakfast and lunch and were greeted warmly by Jose and Claudia with whom we enjoyed speaking. Barcelona wait staff Antonio and Luis took good care of us and we looked forward to seeing them daily. Our 25th anniversary dinner at Chez Isabel was made very special by the manager and staff and waiter Jose. We received exceptional service by Adrian at Spice. We very much appreciated staff member Angel who escorted our bike ride to Puerto Morales. Christmas pinata and arrival of santa (and tree) by boat was much fun. 1000 nights dinner on the beach was delicious and the fire show impressive. New Year's Eve Mayan theme and show capped off a superb week for us. There we so many fun activities in the day and evening shows etc in which to partake, or we could retreat to the relaxing quiet of the Excellence Club.
