I was so excited when I saw your review. We’re having our wedding there in November and I was hesitant about having my reception on the beach. But after reading your review it has helped ease my mind. Was it very windy on the beach? Which beach area did you choose? I like the idea of the cocktail hour on the pier. I also have Gloria and have heard nothing been good comments, which is very calming. Any further info you could share about your beach wedding would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lana

The beach was awesome. I highly reccomend it. It wasn’t too windy. In fact is was nice to have the breeze so people weren’t too hot while dancing. It was also nice as we had a lot of privacy. Our reception was on the far end of the beach (opposite the ceremony site). Have you booked the block of rooms for your guests? If not I can help you with that. thanks Danny the pool was out for use 4 days you would think they would give me 4 days free stay not 2 .If they did that I would be very happy .If you read what happened toi me and my wife I think you would agree .thanks for your thoughts

We are returning to ERC in four weeks for our second stay because we loved it so much. The resort is outstanding, the service is fantastic, and the food is good. I have been to other resorts in Cancan and this one is the whole package! Best of Luck!

Oh my, thank you Dawn and Judyluke on trip advisor. There has been not to good reviews and then your review and comments. We have four more weeks until own arrival on May 21-29. We sure can’t wait! We stay at EPM in 2011 and now we are staying ERC. I was wandering could there be that much of a difference but, it’s the travelers that could have one to change their minds not the resort. I guess I have to put that into consideration when reading others review. The reason we choose Excellence resorts after experiencing many chains such as Secrets WO, Iberostar GRH, and Paradisus LP because we know whats our ideal of a great stay. When we travel we want a swim up EC with a view of the ocean, lots of activities, EC private beach and pool area with a lounge, great anniversary benefits such as candle light dinner on the beach with complimentary couples message, the little extras with turn down services, good food with lots of restaurant choices and no reservations, and excellent customer service. The service don’t really have to be anything special just people I would love to tip. I will say so far I was afraid ERC wasn’t going to deliver that I changed to EPM then back to ERC simply because looking at the map I know we will have an ocean view with our EC swim up, which is a deal breaker as of today. So, thanks everyone and I will write a detailed review in return as so many has help me. Just look out after may for senkia22carter on trip advisor. Please keep the good news rolling. So excited!
